BAR is seeking a Procurement Clerk for a 4-month summer student position.

About the Position

This position performs tasks for efficient and effective project purchasing and coordination of materials and services with various vendors to meet project schedules.  The Procurement Clerk ensures items are purchased from specified suppliers.  More specifically, your duties and responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide clerical and administrative support services to the procurement staff.
  • Generate procurement documents.
  • Interface with Project Engineers for purchasing activities.
  • Track and communicate orders to Project Engineers.

About the Candidate

Our preferred candidate is currently enrolled in post-secondary school in business admin, commerce, engineering, or supply chain management.

Our Procurement Clerks have:

  • Good time management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and computer skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.

  • Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail.
